Missouri Farmers Union will emphasize soil health practices during their annual meeting Saturday in Columbia.  President Dr Tom Coudron says the gathering at the events center on Portland Avenue will feature speakers from around the state who have specialized in regenerative practices for years, including a farmer from northern Boone County.

Members and guests will also hear from Josh Payne of Concordia, who will focus on climate smart practices in row crops.

A representative from the University of Missouri’s Center for Regenerative Agriculture will also present at Saturday’s annual meeting of the Missouri Farmers Union.  Details about the meeting, including registration, are available on the MFU website.

MFU President Tom Coudron notes that the group’s official business will be handled after the new year.
