Missouri Farmers Union To Focus On Soil Health At Saturday’s Annual Meeting

The annual meeting for Missouri Farmers Union this Saturday in Columbia will feature several speakers discussing the latest developments and efforts to improve soil health.  President Dr Tom Coudron says among the speakers is a farmer who will recount their experiences in adopting several conservation practices.

Several speakers will also highlight state and federal programs available to support farmers looking to adopt new conservation techniques.

Additional speakers from Lincoln University, NRCS, and Syngenta are also scheduled to speak at Saturday’s annual meeting of the Missouri Farmers Union.  Admission is free including lunch, but Coudron asks attendees to complete the registration form in advance on the MFU website.

Coudron also notes that the group’s business meeting is scheduled for January 13th.
