Missouri Farmers Care Awaits Next Race To The Plate At Busch Stadium

When the St Louis Cardinals return to Busch Stadium for their next homestand in a week, Missouri Farmers Care and their partner organizations will be ready for another “Race To The Plate”.  The farm advocacy group is again providing several opportunities for baseball fans to learn more about the role agriculture plays in their lives, according to Missouri Farmers Care executive director Ashley McCarty.

Five state commodity groups will each field mascots for the title event during Friday night home games.

Missouri Farmers Care first launched “Race To The Plate” in 2015 with Missouri Corn, Missouri Soybeans, and Midwest Dairy.  Since then, the Missouri Pork Association and Missouri Beef Industry Council have joined the campaign.
