Missouri Farm Bureau Reassessing Races After Key Primary Setbacks

Several candidates that received Missouri Farm Bureau’s endorsements advanced in their primary election contests last week, but endorsed candidates in two key contests came up short.  Farm Bureau president Garrett Hawkins says the results of last week’s primaries opened up new conversations about how to proceed with November’s general elections.

Hawkins says while their endorsed candidate for U.S. Senate in the Republican primary finished second, Farm Bureau plans to visit with candidates ahead of the midterms.

Endorsed candidates in four of the five Congressional primaries where Farm Bureau weighed in advanced to the November ballot.
