Miss Moberly Competition Set for Saturday Night
The Miss Moberly Scholarship Competition, an Official Miss America Preliminary, will be holding its 46th program Saturday evening, at the Municipal Auditorium. There are four Miss Moberly candidates are Sophia Milhollin, a Moberly High School Senior, Lauren VerBrugge, Moberly Area Community College, Emma Bright, Missouri Valley College, and Evelyn Ortman, Moberly High School Senior. Miss Moberly 2019, Christina Brocksmith is among those looking forward to the evening.
Brocksmith has some simple advice for the candidates.
The doors will open at 6:00pm. with curtain time at 7:00 P.M. The young lady crowned Miss Moberly 2020 will represent Randolph County at Miss Missouri in Mexico, in June.
The Mistress-of-Ceremonies is Jennifer Wilson-Browning, who headlined her own show called “Jennifer in the Morning” in Branson for ten years. Special entertainment will be by “Jennifer Wilson’s All That Jazz” Dance Studio, Molly Foster, who will sing and Camryn Crist, who will dance. Miss Missouri, Simone Esters, who finished as 2nd runnerup at Miss America this past December, will present her talent of baton twirling.
