While preparations are still being made for the 2020 Major League Baseball season, the Minor League Baseball season has been canceled. Major League Baseball made the announcement Tuesday afternoon that they won’t be supplying their affiliated minor league teams with players, resulting in the cancelation of the 2020 season. Many MLB teams’ top prospects who would otherwise be playing in the minors, will likely be on their MLB team’s 60-man taxi roster for the 2020 season. The majority of MLB teams are continuing to provide $400 per week stipends for their minor league players.
