Miles Explains the Orscheln Sell-Off of the Farm and Home Stores

After more than 60 years of Farm and Home stores, Orscheln is no longer in the retail business. As of last October, the merger with Tractor Supply was finalized. Mark Miles, President and CEO of Orscheln Management Company, came on KWIXland This Morning Wednesday and said they couldn’t share much information during the lengthy process.

Miles explained why Tractor Supply had to divest some of the stores to other players.

Miles said the Moberly store will soon switch to Tractor Supply. The Macon store has already made the switch.
