While she still has two years left for her high school basketball career, Milan junior Cady Pauley is already preparing herself for the next level. Pauley recently announced on twitter that she has committed to play basketball at Missouri State University. Pauley explains her reasoning for choosing Missouri State.

Pauley will join a Missouri State program that went 26-4 in the 2019-20 regular season and finished 19th in the final national rankings. While her career at Missouri State is on the horizon, Pauley says she still has plenty of goals to achieve at Milan.

Through two years at Milan, Pauley has already racked up a significant reputation. This past season she averaged 28.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, 4 steals, and 3.3 assists per game to help lead the Lady Cats to a 16-9 season. Pauley talks about what her mentality is in practice.

While she still has nearly two years of high school left, Pauley already has a career plan in mind. She plans to major in education at Missouri State and become a P.E. teacher.
