Milan to Change Insurance Providers

Earlier this week the Milan City Council voted to approve a change of insurance providers for the city. For the past several years, the city’s insurance provider has been MOPERM. After Monday’s Milan City Council meeting, the city’s insurance provider will be MIRMA. Milan City Administrator Fred Ventresco says the switch will be beneficial.

Ventresco indicates the change in insurance providers has been a long time coming.

While savings look good up front, Ventresco and other city officials are hopeful the switch to MIRMA will be beneficial for years to come.
