The Milan School Board recently approved a change order for the district’s ongoing building project. Milan Superintendent Dr. Ben Yocom says the change order is related to the old kitchen area of their cafeteria.

The change order comes at a cost of just over $38,000. Yocom details what the kitchen will look like once it is converted into the new media center.

The renovations will also include a network hub and a technology storage area. Yocom says this renovation is an important return on their recent investment in technology for the district.

Along with the media center, work continues on the new high school gymnasium and locker rooms. The Milan School District building project is expected to be completed by December 22nd.
