The Milan Wildcats experienced a rollercoaster football season in 2019. Narrow losses and injuries were common as the Wildcats finished 5-6. Five of those losses were by single digits. With the 2020 season on the horizon, Milan coach John Dabney is hopeful his returning players have learned from the harsh lessons last season.

One change for the Wildcats this season will be at quarterback following the graduation of Ryan Dabney. Coach Dabney says a transfer student is expected to take the reins at quarterback this year.

Cole will compliment a veteran group on this year’s Wildcat squad.

Milan will also feature twelve freshmen on this year’s roster. The Wildcats are scheduled to open the season Friday against South Shelby. You can hear from coach Dabney and other area coaches on our Kickoff Show Thursday at 5:30 on Superstation KRES.
