17 area athletes were recognized on the Grand River Conference All-Conference team. Milan quarterback Ryan Dabney and wide receiver Hunter Shaw as well as Putnam County running back Torqe Brundage were unanimous First Team offense selections. Dabney was also on First Team defense and Dominic Dabney was a unanmious First Team defense selection. Shaw was named to Second Team defense. Elsewhere, Putnam County offensive lineman Jaxon Whitworth landed on First Team offense. Linebacker Tony Bondy and defensive back Aaron Perez were on First Team defense. Perez was also on First Team special teams. Wide receivers Dre Morehead (Milan) and Hayden Halley (Putnam) were named to Second Team offense with offensive linemen Billy Bahena (Milan) and Josh Luscan (Putnam). Putnam’s Richard Rowland, O.D. Perkins, Colder Evans and Jorge Lopez were Second Team defense selections. Lopez also landed on Second Team special teams. Axel Pagan of Milan and Abraham Hernandez of Putnam County were honorable mentions for offense and defense respectively.
