Mexico Man Seriously Injured in Audrain County Accident

A Mexico man was seriously injured in a one vehicle accident in Audrain County Saturday afternoon. The State Highway Patrol says it happened shortly after 2 on Route J, just west of Route O. A vehicle driven by 57-year-old Carl E. Wolfe drove off the left side of the roadway and struck a utility pole. It then returned to the road, but he overcorrected and ran back off the left side of the road and struck an embankment. Wolfe was taken to to Mexico. Wolfe was also booked with felony DWI.
