The Mexico City Council last week voted to extend the operation agreement with Jay Jacobi (juh-COE-bee) for the airport for another three years. City Manager Bruce Slagle says it was the only proposal the city received.
Slagle says the city is pleased with how the airport is being operated.
The city will pay 37-hundred-fifty dollars a month through June of 2026.
