Mexico Applying for DNR Grants

The Mexico City Council Monday approved applying for grants from the state Department of Natural Resources for wastewater and stormwater projects. City Manager Bruce Slagle says the state has funds coming from the American Rescue Plan Act.

Slagle says the grants would cover work at the wastewater treatment plant, and culvert and curb runoff work in various places around town.

The council also approved a bid for materials needed to add storage onto the Parks maintenance building.
