Timothy Korman of Macon has been chosen as Macon Electric Cooperative’s new general manager. Korman will fill the role immediately and work alongside former GM Todd Schroeder through the end of February. Korman began with MEC in May 1990 as an equipment repair and operator, then he became a lineman in 1993 before being promoted to lead lineman and line superintendent. His latest role was as operations manager, which he began in June 2017. Macon Electric Cooperative serves over 11,000 members in nine counties.
