Meadville Girls Defeat Schuyler County in State-Ranked Battle

The Meadville girls remained unbeaten with a 68-58 win over Schuyler County in a battle of two state-ranked teams. After a back-and-forth two and-a-half quarters, Mallory Dennis gave the Lady Eagles the lead for good.

Madison Carvajal led Meadville with 24 points while Paige Carvajal netted six threes for 18 points. Korrie Holcer put in 10. Coach Steve Carvajal said it was a hard-fought win.

Schuyler County got a game-high 29 points from Kait Hatfield. Coach Thomas Kirkland thought his team played well.

Meadville moves to 25-0 and Schuyler County falls to 19-5.
