The Missouri Department of Conservation will host a Master Naturalist program in Hannibal to promote healthy fish, forests, and wildlife. A training orientation will be the night of Tuesday, August 3rd from 6 to 8 at the Burt Administration Building at Hannibal-LaGrange University. Attendance is required to take part in the training classes. Register for the orientation session by calling (573) 248-2530. Subsequent classes will take place 5:30 until 9 Tuesday nights from August 31st through November 30th. The trainings will also include field sessions on two Monday evenings and three Saturdays. Registration closes August 17th. Enrollees must be at least 18 and pay a $110 fee.
