McGaugh Aniticipates State Budget to be Challenge in 2021

The 2021 Missouri Legislative Session is underway in Jefferson City. One of the challenges for the state legislature will be balancing the state budget. Representative Peggy McGaugh says one area of the budget she would like to see focused on is funding for county jails.
The Carrollton Republican serves on the House Budget Committee. McGaugh says she is ready for the challenge of balancing the budget for the upcoming fiscal year.
McGaugh has served as 39th District Representative since 2018. Prior to that, she had been the Carroll County Clerk since 1985.
