As previously reported, the Missouri Basketball Coaches Association 2020 Hall of Fame Class includes former Harrisburg boys head coach Steve Combs. Current Harrisburg boys head coach Kyle Fisher nominated Combs. The Harrisburg Superintendent Combs praises Fisher, who starred for Harrisburg’s 2006 state championship team and later assisted Combs.

Combs also guided the Bulldogs to the 2008 state championship and six state semifinal appearances in 18 seasons. Fisher moved to the head seat when Combs resigned to accept Harrisburg’s superintendent job in 2017.

Combs coached two years at Louisiana before he captured nine district championships at Harrisburg. Due to the coronavirus, the MBCA Hall of Fame induction will be postponed to September 13th in Springfield.
