5/30/23 Salisbury vs Ash Grove Class 2 Championship: Salisbury senior Braden Sloan delivered a two-run single for the Panthers as they fell to undefeated Ash Grove 13-3 in the Class 2 title game.

5/30/23 Community R-6 vs Cooter Class 1 Third Place: Community R-6 senior Gavin Allen went a perfect 3-3 at the plate and struck out seven in five-and-two-thirds innings on the mound as Community fell 7-0.

5/29/23 Salisbury vs Chaffee Class 2 Semifinal: Salisbury senior Aidan West delivered a key two-run single in the first inning to erase an early deficit as the Panthers defeated the Red Devils 11-5.

5/29/23 Community R-6 vs Platte Valley Class 1 Semifinal: Community R-6 senior Gavin Allen had a double and reached base twice in the Trojans’ 8-0 defeat to Platte Valley.

5/24/23 Salisbury at Putnam County Class 2 Quarterfinal: Salisbury senior pitcher Ethan Hamilton tossed a complete game four-hit shutout with five strikeouts as Salisbury advanced past Putnam County 4-0.

5/24/23 Platte Valley at Green City Class 1 Quarterfinal: Green City sophomore Ty Hall went 2-3 with a single, a double and two runs scored.  He also pitched three innings allowing one unearned run on one hit as the Gophers saw their season come to an end with a 5-4 loss to Platte Valley.

5/23/23 Fulton at Macon Class 4 Sectional: Fulton senior pitcher Walker Gohring pitched a complete game two-hit shutout with six strikeouts and one walk, while adding a sacrifice fly at the plate to give Fulton a 2-0 victory over Macon.

5/23/23 South Shelby at Elsberry Class 3 Sectional: South Shelby senior Lucas Magruder went 1-3 at the plate with a single and a walk and pitched three innings with six strikeouts in an 8-2 defeat to Elsberry.

5/22/23 Putnam County at Harrisburg Class 2 Sectional: Putnam County sophomore Mason Morris pitched three-and-a-third shutout innings over three separate appearances with three strikeouts and no hits allowed to help Putnam County to a 1-0 win over the Bulldogs.

5/22/23 Green City at North Shelby Class 1 Sectional: Green City sophomore Xander Salas went 2-4 with a go-ahead triple in the second inning and a key RBI single in the fifth to help boost Green City to a 12-1 win over North Shelby.

5/18/23 Macon vs Mexico Class 4 District 7 Tournament Championship: Macon Junior Logan Hillard delivered a two-out, two-run double in the bottom of the sixth inning to lift Macon past Mexico 2-1 as the Tigers win their second district title in three years.

5/16/23 Macon vs Kirksville Class 4 District 7 Tournament Semifinal: Macon senior Hayden Burns delivered a key RBI single in Macon’s four-run sixth inning and battled through three-and-two-thirds innings on the mound to help boost Macon to a 4-3 win against Kirksville.

5/16/23 Hallsville vs Mexico Class 4 District 7 Tournament Semifinal: Mexico senior Andrew Runge brought in the first two runs of the game with a single and added a two-run home run.  He also pitched in relief to get the final out of the game for Mexico’s 6-1 win over Hallsville.

5/13/23 Moberly vs Mexico Class 4 District 7 Tournament 1st Round: Mexico senior Landyn Kleinsorge had three hits and two RBIs while also pitching five innings and holding Moberly to one run as the Bulldogs knocked out the Spartans 11-1.

5/13/23 Kirksville vs Centralia Class 4 District 7 Tournament 1st Round: Kirksville senior pitcher Keaton Anderson pitched a complete game with eight strikeouts.  He allowed just one run on four hits as the Tigers defeated Centralia 4-1.

5/8/23 Cairo at Westran baseball: Cairo senior Logan Head pitched a complete game with ten strikeouts while allowing three runs on five hits.  He also with 2-4 at the plate to help lift the Bearcats to a 7-3 victory over rival Westran.

5/5/23 La Plata at North Shelby baseball: La Plata senior Reese Mesecher went 4-4 at the plate with two doubles, two RBIs, and two runs scored to help lift the Bulldogs to a 7-3 win over North Shelby.

5/1/23 Milan at Atlanta baseball: Milan junior Kamden Deryke went 2-3 with a go-ahead double in the sixth inning and a two-run triple in the seventh inning to help the Wildcats rally past Atlanta for a 9-3 win.
