The Mark Twain Athletic Department announced Friday that the football team will be able to return to practice Tuesday, but will need six days to start over on getting accustomed to heat and equipment, forcing the cancellation of their August 28th game at South Callaway. The team was forced to suspend practices last week after a player tested positive for COVID-19. The game against Clopton-Elsberry has been postponed from September 4th to September 5th, which will also serve as senior night for the Tigers. The JV football games against Bowling Green, South Shelby, and Centralia have been canceled.
