Marceline senior Cullen Bruner intends to continue his football career at Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas. The three-time KRES All-Star kicker says he will sign with the NAIA program in the near future.

Bruner boasts back-to-back First Team All-State kicker selections after he landed a Second Team spot as a sophomore. The specialist indicates the recruitment process was a challenge.

Bruner set a Marceline record with a 49-yard field goal against Scotland County in the season opener. The senior guided Mark Ross’ Marceline Tigers to the state semifinals last season.

Coaches voted Bruner the unanimous Lewis and Clark Offensive Player of the Year. Bruner rushed for 1,886 yards and 33 touchdowns for 12-2 Marceline. The Benedictine commit says he’s open to multiple positions in college.

Bruner made 21 of 35 career field goals and 82 percent of extra points. He hit a 40-plus yard field goal each of the last three years. Bruner looks to study special education or elementary education at Benedictine. Hear a full interview with Marceline senior Cullen Bruner below.
