Marceline Names Head Wrestling and Baseball Coaches

The Marceline School Board approved the hires of coaches Blake Linebaugh and Andrew Stewart. Linebaugh will be Marceline’s head baseball coach and an assistant football coach. The current Chillicothe assistant quarterbacked Marceline’s 2013 runner-up squad. Stewart will be the Tigers’ head wrestling and middle school head football coach. Linebaugh replaces Marceline baseball coach Jordan Aulbur, who accepted a teaching position at alma mater Westran. Stewart’s wrestling predecessor Austin Bruner accepted a Centralia teaching job. Marceline Athletic Director and head football coach Mark Ross tells centralmoinfo.com he will fill Bruner’s role as defensive coordinator. Ross also calls the Tiger offense. Marceline returns every starter from its state quarterfinal team.
