Marceline Cracks Top Ten

Fayette’s win over Harrisburg Friday wasn’t enough to get the Falcons ranked in Class 1, but it did open the door for Marceline to jump into the top ten. This week’s media poll has Monroe City up one slot to sixth, Marceline ranked ninth, Harrisburg dropped four spots to tenth, and Fayette is getting votes. Hallsville is still third and Bowling Green is still tenth in Class 2. In Class 3, Boonville remains fourth, Blair Oaks dropped two to eighth, and Mexico dropped out of the top ten but still got a vote. Jason Ambroson’s Smithville team remains on top of Class 4, and Hannibal is still third. Helias jumped one to seventh in Class 5. Curtis Jasper’s Joplin team dropped two to fifth in Class 6.
