Marceline Council Approves Trash Switch

Beginning in July, there will be a change in the trash and recycling services in Marceline. City Manager Richard Hoon says the city’s current five-year contract expires at the end of June.

Information about the transition, and another change, will be put out after the contract is finalized.

Hoon says the rates will either stay the same or be slightly lower than they are now.
