Man Killed in Columbia Accident

A Columbia man was killed in a one-car accident along Rock Quarry Road around 10:25 Monday night. Columbia Police say 24-year-old Caleb Wheeler’s car was southbound in the 24-hundred block when it went off the left side of the road, slid sideways into a tree, and overturned onto its top back on the road. He was pronounced dead at the hospital. Wheeler was not wearing a seatbelt.
