MAN KILLED IN ACCIDENT NEAR HOLTS SUMMIT

A Centertown man died from injuries suffered in a crash on the north side of Holts Summit. The State Highway Patrol says 19-year-old Matthew Spencer’s pickup went off Route AA and hit a tree around 4:25 Tuesday morning. He was taken to Jefferson City and pronounced dead at the hospital about an hour later.
