MAEDC Working to Bring in More Franchises
The Moberly Area Economic Development Corporation is hoping to connect local investors with companies looking to open franchises in Moberly. Kaylee Paffrath is the Director of Business Development for the MAEDC. She says they’re trying to increase the number of options available locally.
Paffrath says Randolph County has a lot to offer that companies are looking for.
Paffrath says it varies by company, but franchise fees are usually in the ten thousand dollar range, potential owners generally need between 100 and 300 thousand dollars in assets for some franchises to upwards of a million dollars for others. The MAEDC would help potential owners with marketing data.
The MAEDC would also help connect owners to tools and resources for financing. For people thinking about maybe starting a business, they should stop by the MAEDC office or go to moberly-edc.com
