Macon Superintendent Discusses Allen’s Unexpected Resignation

Jameson Allen resigned last week as Macon’s head football coach due to personal medical issues. Superintendent Scott Jarvis says everyone in the district was surprised with the timing of his resignation.

Jarvis adds the district will continue to support the former Tigers coach. Jarvis addressed Allen’s future.

Joey Peterson will be the interim head coach for the rest of the year. Jarvis believes the Tigers will be in good hands.

Jarvis addresses how Macon will approach naming a permanent head coach.

Jarvis has a message he’d like to share for everyone involved with Macon football.

The Tigers are currently 2-2 and beat Highland 32-30 Friday night.
