Macon School District Starting JAG Program

The Macon School District will begin a JAG (Jobs for America’s Graduates) program next school year. Interim Superintendent Shelley Devenport says the plan was discussed at the April school board meeting.

The JAG Program has existed for more than 40 years. Devenport explains how the program will operate at Macon.

Macon’s JAG program will be for high school students only for its first year. The district expects to accommodate up to 15 students to start.
