Macon School Board Passes Prelim Budget

Macon’s school board passed the district’s preliminary budget for the next school year last week. Superintendent Scott Jarvis notes the Elementary And Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) funds will help alleviate the near one million dollars lost in revenue last year.
Jarvis says the second round of ESSER funds will go towards credit recovery.
Jarvis says the funds also help Macon operate a large summer school.
