Macon School and City Filings

Six people, including the three incumbents, have filed for openings on the Macon School Board. Incumbents Kevin Linear, William Noyes and Carrie Bergfield have filed, along with John Wiggans, Eric Brown, and Greg Bruno. There will be two contested races for Macon City Council. Misty Blue, and Caleb Dwiggins have both filed for 1st Ward Councilman, while incumbent Jerold Carr, and Mollie Gilliland have filed for 3rd Ward. Incumbent Tony Petre has filed for 2nd Ward, and incumbent Jerry Thompson has also filed for 4th Ward. Incumbent Rebecca Sims has also filed for collector.
