Macon Pedestrian Seriously Hurt in Accident

A Macon woman was seriously injured when she was hit by an SUV on Highway 63 north of Jackson Street in Macon Wednesday night. The State Highway Patrol says 22-year-old Kristina Bennett was in the road around 8, and was hit by an SUV driven by 63-year-old Charles Hembree of Ballwin. She was flown to Columbia. He was not hurt.
