Macon Man Arrested for Multiple Sex Offenses
A Macon man has been arrested for multiple sex offenses against children. Authorities arrested 34-year-old Johnathan S. Taylor of Macon following an investigation by the Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop B Criminal Investigative Unit. This came after the La Plata Police Department requested the patrol’s Division of Drug and Crime Control investigate two separate allegations involving the sexual assault of juvenile girls by Taylor. Investigators learned that Taylor had allegedly sexually assaulted two underaged girls dating back to 2017 in Macon County. Taylor has been arrested and formally charged with seven counts of second-degree statutory sodomy, six counts of fourth-degree child molestation, one count of second-degree statutory rape, and one count of patronizing prostitution. He is being held in the Randolph County Jail without bond.
