Following a closed session earlier in the week, the Macon School Board has hired Jameson Allen as their new head football coach. Macon School Superintendent Scott Jarvis says he likes what Allen brings to the table as a football coach.

As a coach, Allen most recently served as the head man at Lutheran South in 2016 through 2018. He was an assistant coach at Cameron High School in 2019. He also served as an assistant coach at Moberly in 2011 and 2012. Jarvis says the role of head coach at Macon is an important position.

Allen replaces Pete Claas, who served as Macon’s head coach for the past 17 years. We will have a full interview with Coach Jameson Allen tomorrow morning at 9:32 on the Chariton Valley Magic City Sports Talk on Information Radio KWIX.
