Macon Defeats Centralia on Late Score

Macon scored late and took a 20-14 win over Centralia Friday night. On senior night, MyKel Linear gave the Tigers the lead with 3:30 to go.

Austin Ward with the call on KRES and centralmoinfo.com. That was the only score of the second half. Landan Cole, playing for the first time since a scary injury two weeks ago, sealed the win on defense.

Macon coach Van Vanatta said it was a great moment.

Linear finished the game with 86 yards through the air, 110 on the ground and two touchdowns. Vanatta walked through the game-winning drive.

Centralia coach Tyler Forsee said Linear was a problem.

Kyden Wilkerson had touchdown runs of 43 yards and 54 yards in the first half for Centralia and finished with 175 yards on 15 carries. The Panthers fall to 7-2. Macon ends the regular season 8-1.
