The Macon County Town and Country Fair is scheduled to take place next Monday through Saturday at the Macon County Fairgrounds in Macon. Fair Board Vice President, Megan Pollard, says the local youth are a big part of the fair.

One new feature at this year’s event is a rodeo, which will be held at Friday and Saturday night at 8.

Admission to the rodeo will be ten dollars for anyone twelve and older and five dollars for kids between the ages of six and eleven. Fair activities will be capped Saturday night by the performance of the Riverside Band at 10. Pollard says they will take some precautions due to COVID-19.

Additional precautions include limiting food vendors, and attendees are encouraged to wear masks.
