Macon County Sheriff Updates Search For Missing La Plata Man

The search for the missing La Plata man, 81-year-old Robert “Bob” Williams, who was last seen walking away from his home on Old Highway 63, just south of La Plata a week ago Sunday evening around 7:00 is ongoing. Macon County Sheriff Kevin Shoemaker says a lot of resources, including Dry Creek Bloodhounds, have been used in the search.
Williams, who has dementia, is considered an endangered missing person.
The public’s assistance is still needed.
