Macon County Route DD is planned to close at Billy’s Branch, located just west of Ten Mile, for a bridge replacement project starting June 8th. Once replaced, the bridge will be 24 feet wide, which is four feet wider than the existing bridge. Guardrails will also be added to increase the safety of motorists crossing the bridge. The new bridge is planned to be completed by late summer. This bridge is included in Governor Mike Parson’s $351 million Focus on Bridges program, which will repair or replace 250 bridges across the state.
