Macon County Health Department Still Dealing With Respiratory Season

While spring is nearly upon us, respiratory season is still ongoing across the state. Macon County Health Department Administrator Mike Chambers discusses the latest trends.

The symptoms of the flu, RSV and COVID-19 are all similar. Chambers says this makes testing important.

The Macon County Health Department offers tests and vaccines for all three viruses. Chambers says a milder winter has extended the season a bit.

There have been limited hospitalizations and no deaths this year in Macon County from the flu, RSV or COVID-19.
