Macon County Health Department Releases Weekly COVID-19 Report

The Macon County Health Department has released its weekly COVID-19 report, showing 32 new cases of the virus. Of the new cases, only four people were vaccinated. A total of 27 of the new cases are under the age of 60. There are currently 41 active cases of the virus, including six hospitalizations. The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services now consider Macon, Randolph, and Adair counties COVID-19 hotspots due to rising case rates.
