Macon County Health Administrator Discusses Infection Rate and Vaccine

In mid-January, Macon County had one of the highest positivity rates of COVID-19 in all of Missouri. Health Department Administrator Mike Chambers says the numbers have started to go down.

Chambers has an update on the county’s vaccination process.

Chambers says the county has attempted to order vaccines from the state, but those orders have been denied because Missouri’s supply is being prioritized for mass vaccination sites operated by the National Guard.
