Macon Co. Gets First Coronavirus Case

The Macon County health department confirmed its first case of COVID-19 in the county. Macon County Health Department Public Information Officer Erin Main says the department was informed about the case Wednesday afternoon. The individual is in self quarantine, and those who have had close contact with the individual are also in self quarantine.

Information on how the patient contracted the virus was not disclosed. Missouri currently has over 356 positive coronavirus cases as of Wednesday afternoon.
