Macon Baseball Wins First-Ever District Title

Macon baseball won its first-ever district title with a 3-1 win over Centralia. Both teams scored a run in the first and Macon took the lead for good in the second.

Ethan Adams pitched 5 2/3 innings and gave up three runs, eight hits, one walk and struck out two. Andrew Hinds delivered the rest of the game.

Centralia ends its season at 18-9. Macon moves to 16-4 and will play the winner of the District 5 tournament in sectionals.
