Macon and Adair Counties Report Second Positive Coronavirus Cases
Both Macon and Adair Counties are reporting their second positive tests for the coronavirus. The Macon County Health Department reports their second case is community spread and isn’t travel related. The person is under self-quarantine and is in communication with local health officials. Those who have been in contact with the individual have been contacted by the Macon County Health Department. Meanwhile, the Adair County Health Department is reporting their second case is also not travel related. A 34-year old Adair County woman has tested positive for the virus and is in isolation at her home. The Adair County Health Department is currently working closely with the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services to determine any close contacts the woman may have had. In addition, the person who first tested positive for the coronavirus in Adair County has been released from isolation.
