MACC’s Smith Talks NJCAA Season Change for 2020-2021

As we reported earlier, the NJCAA plans to start basketball practice September 14th, and the season October 16th. All member colleges are also encouraged to limit competition between Thanksgiving and January 1st. MACC Greyhounds men’s coach Pat Smith is optimistic the plan will work.
Smith says the NJCAA sent out a booklet of more than 100 pages that includes recommendations of fans in attendance, but socially-distanced from each other and masks being recommended. He says he has not given much thought yet to if and how practices need to change.
