The Moberly Lady Greyhounds beat Kennedy-King 92-17, and the men came from behind to beat Highland of Illinois 68-62 Friday on the first day of the Thanksgiving Classic. The Lady Hounds started the game on a 20-0 run and led 49-5 at halftime.

The Lady Hounds are now 8-2 and play Lindenwood-Belleville Saturday at 5. Kennedy-King falls to 2-6.

The men trailed by as many as 11 in the first half, and by seven at halftime, but a 21-2 run early in the second put the Greyhounds up for good.

Moberly is 8-2 and faces 14th-ranked Indian Hills Saturday night at 7. We’ll have both MACC games on KWIX, with pregame coverage scheduled for 4:50.

The earlier games had the State Fair women beat Lindenwood-Belleville 84-58, and Indian Hills beat the State Fair men 77-48.
