MACC Wins Two More on Saturday

MACC’s basketball teams picked up two more wins Saturday, with the Lady Greyhounds beating Arkansas State Mid-South 75-61, and the men beating Highland of Illinois 98-76. The Lady Hounds got out to an eight-point lead by halftime.

J.B. Connoley with the call on KWIX and centralmoinfo.com. McKenna Eddings led all scorers with 24 and Indya Green had 23. Head coach Hana Haden credited her team for battling through foul trouble.

Moberly is 10-1, and will host Mineral Area Friday night.

In the men’s game, Sincere Parker went off for a career-high 41 against the Cougars.

The Greyhounds are now 8-2, and host Mineral Area for the start of Region 16 play Wednesday night. Highland falls to 4-3.

 

In the other games, State Fair swept Rock Valley, 74-46 for the women and 70-68 for the men.
