MACC Splits With Three Rivers

The MACC basketball teams split at home with Three Rivers Saturday, with the 11th-ranked women falling 57-54 to the 21st-ranked Lady Raiders, and the men holding on for an 88-78 win. The Lady Hounds had let a nine-point lead get away, but reclaimed the lead in the fourth quarter.

Moberly is now 6-2, 1-1 in Region 16. Three Rivers is 5-0, 1-0 in the region.

The Three Rivers men erased a 24-point deficit to tie the game at 77 late, but the Greyhounds finished the game on an 11-1 run to pull out the win.

Moberly’s Sincere Parker finished with a game-high 23, and Cortez Mosely added 16.

The Greyhounds are 8-3, 1-1 in the region. They will be at West Plains Monday night for their third game in five nights.
